Kathy's love for designing made-to-order creations began in 2004 after making her own wedding invitations, programs, and placecards. Since then, she has produced orders for friends and family as special gifts. In 2009, she launched Kathy Cherry Designs as a fundraiser for a breast cancer organization where her product line was a hit!

Kathy has more than 15 years of experience in the public sector for a range of non-profit organizations as well as leading several Chicago political campaigns.  She earned her Master's degree in Public Services Management in 1999 from DePaul University in Chicago. Kathy also has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Anthropology from Indiana University.
